Question on type of valve used?

Postby flyerman on Tue Mar 25, 2008 9:55 pm

I am trying to in stall a house water filter with one valve on each side of the filter. The pipe is 3/4 and I purchased two ball valves. After getting home I read the handle of the valve and it reads "150 WSP 600 WOG Shut off valve for LP Gas Listed 44R8 600 PSI Max".

Can I use these valves?

Yes, you can use those ball valves and by there rating they are approved for Water or Gas, so plumb away. :D
