floor sinks

does a floor sink for indirect waste need to be vented,.and can you use pro pex above ground in comercial aplications?

Your first question, are you talking about the floor sink drain? if you combination waste and vent the drain 2 pipe size larger than the sink outlet then you don't need a vent. 2" outlet 3" drain line. Pipe sizes are 1 1/2" / 2" / 2 1/2" / 3" / 4"
Your second question, As long as you protect it from damage. Conceal it in a wall with proper safety plates. Exposed is not the proper way. ABS is allowed under ground but when exposed above ground it must be cast iron and protected.

Sorry plastic is NOT allowed in any commercial work UNLESS it is some type of chemical or acid waste that no other suitable material can be used.

Also indirect waste depends on developed length if it needs to be vented
