Weil Mclain VHE-5 design temperature ?

Postby Terryg43 on Sun Nov 25, 2007 6:21 pm

Hi folks: I'm curious as to what the design or operating temperature should be on my Weil Mclain VHE-5 boiler. I'm also looking to see at what temperature the High Limit should be set at. Thanx.

Operating temps

Postby Heating Instructor on Sun Nov 25, 2007 8:24 pm

The industry standard has always been 180 high and 160 low .
But the trend is now for lower operating temps.
This will depend on many factors for your particular installation.

Check the manufacturers suggestion as well .
Hope this helps you
