Kohler Pull-out Kitchen Faucet Slow Flow

Kohler Vinnata K-690 Pull-out Kitchen Faucet
    Less than 2 years old
Faucet had not been used for approx. 7 weeks, and now the center (full) flow is extremely restricted; the outside flow (spray) is less than it was, but it's not as bad as the center flow. I have the same faucet in prep sink and it is working fine. I thought there might be residue or something blocking flow, so I unscrewed aerator - nothing there. I unscrewed the "spray assembly" from the hose, thinking something might be blocked in there, but I don't see anything. There is a strong flow out of the hose when I run water without the assembly on. Do I need to order a new assembly, or is there something I can do to clean it out? Thanks.

That would be the easy fix.
